Well, it has been quite the day! We planned to head out at 4am but Tim quickly discovered that the running lights on our RV were not working...soooo we ended up leaving at 5:30 instead. And the lights are still not fixed so no night driving for us until that is figured out. It took us a little over 13 hours of driving here to Big Sur. The last 4 were really pretty. We drove through wine country and then you hit the coast onto PCH. The drive along PCH is very windy and narrow...I thought my hand was going to go numb from white knuckeling the door the whole time. Leah was in a cycle of throwing up and sleeping, throwing up and sleeping...poor thing. Finally we arrived at our campground at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. It is right across the street from the coast but it is in a heavily wooded campground right on the river. It took us 2 hours to park the RV in our spot since it was a very tight fit. But we did it, had dinner, and went to bed. It was a long day...my poor hubby is done!
